Chapter 2: The Camp

11th Day of Alemont

The next morning, our band of adventurers woke up, ready to head towards this camp the Herald mentioned. They strapped on their gear and grabbed a quick breakfast in the inn's common room.

As they got closer, Tobin was sent in to find out how many guards were posted and what they were up against. Tobin snuck in and found that a couple guards were posted at the near and far ends of the camp, with about six two-man tents and one bigger tent--probably for Pelgrin, the guy they were after. Tobin guessed about twelve people altogether.

The group managed to sneak ever so cautiously up to the first set of guards near them. They managed to take them out fairly easily without causing an alarm. After they knocked the guards out, they snuck towards the main tent, trying not to be seen.

As they approached the tent, they saw that Pelgrin was involved in a meeting. Half went towards the front entrance of the tent, and the other half decided to create their own entry way by cutting a flap of their own.

Flanked by both sides, the adventurers caught Pelgrin and his men off-guard. A long, difficult battle ensued, but eventually they managed to succeed. With Pelgrin gone, they looked for any trinklets or anything unusual that may have been the Key to bring back to town.

A key was found, dangling on a chain around Pelgrin's neck. A chest was spotted in a corner. They tried opening up the chest with the key. Inside, a small music box was found. This can't be the key, can it?
